Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about numbers, SMS delivery, billing, refunds, recharge and account usage.
What numbers does USA SIM provide?
We primarily provide real, non-virtual US SIM numbers for one-time verification and 7, 30 or 90-day rentals. Availability is shown live.
What is the difference between temporary and rental numbers?
Temporary verification is for one code and each new or repeated activation creates a new order. Rental numbers remain manageable and can receive multiple messages during the term.
When is temporary verification charged?
Your balance is reserved when a number is assigned. The charge completes after a code arrives. If no code arrives, an eligible cancellation or the 10-minute timeout returns the order amount.
What if no verification code arrives?
The system checks every 10 seconds after assignment. Wait during the receiving window; if no code arrives, cancel manually or wait for the automatic refund after 10 minutes.
What does reactivation mean?
A temporary number that already received a code may be reactivated. This creates a separate order and a new charge.
Why are rental prices different?
Rental pricing depends on both service and term. The site loads a live rental quote after you choose the service and duration; temporary prices are not reused.
Do rental numbers renew automatically?
Auto-renewal is off by default. When enabled, the site checks your balance before renewal. Insufficient balance records a failure and does not trigger merchant renewal.
How do I copy the number and code?
Use Copy Number after assignment to copy the number without the US country code 1. Use Copy Code after SMS delivery to copy only the detected verification code.
What do service favorites do?
Select the star beside a service to pin it. Member favorites sync across devices and guest favorites merge after login. Favorites do not change pricing.
